Bobby Adams May 3, 1935 – May 20, 2013

A friend of ours passed away yesterday, and we would ask that our readers keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Bobby Adams was a researcher and historian, a preservationist of early buildings and furniture and decorative arts. He had a tremendous passion for the town of Bethania, North Carolina, and he worked to encourage others to be interested in preservation and history, both in Forsyth County and across North Carolina.

He, his wife and son, and their best friends founded the Antiques Extravaganza of North Carolina. Many dealers and customers enjoyed the shows that they sponsored in North and South Carolina and Virginia.

If you wish to send a gift in Bobby’s memory, please send it to Bethania Moravian Church Building Fund, 5545 Main Street, Bethania, North Carolina 27010 or to the Bethania Historical Association, Post Office Box 131, Bethania, North Carolina 27010.
